Stand off is over. He was fatally shot while they were trying to apprehend him. It appears he had a Truth Social Account and posted during the stand off.

"Well, I thought I had a way through bullet proof glass, and I didn't," the user posted on Donald Trump's social media site at 9:29 a.m. Authorities say the attack took place at 9:15. For real. I don't get it. I can't imagine ever feeling so strongly about a politician that I'd even consider something like this. How are they in so deep that they literally give their LIVES for him?

And the turn on law enforcement by the MAGA masses. The fringe groups always wanted to overthrow the government including anyone trying to protect it, but now all theses 45 loyalists are like eff the police.

I can see this happening because of the stories of people (women) that fall in love with prison convicts AFTER they are in prison. There is a strong pull when you feel connected to someone (a prisoner), some one thing (trumpism), or some big thing (religion). 

I assume we will eventually learn why some people get "sucked in" while others don't. And then the advertisers will learn and suck us all in. 

Somewhat related... I went to an event recently where I got autographs from a few local baseballers. Did they look amazing for their age? F@#k yeah. Did I feel like I wanted them to like me as I gave them my item to autograph? Yep!!! Would I do something really bad if they asked me?... no. But I could absolutely feel the difference in my thinking just being around them (and in a small group of others that also admired them).
