Any of you have experience/advice on sewing clover into your lawn?
We're sort of over our grass, I don't mind a mix of grass and clover. Figured we'll go to the local landscaping place and ask too. I'm ready to break up w/our lawn care company.
We kind of let this happen naturally? I don’t think we did anything in particular, it just started taking over on its own. Sorry, not helpful. But I love it because it doesn’t grow as fast, and it encourages bees. And it looks pretty when the flowers bloom (at least until you mow). Super helpful I know.
We have a clover lawn! We mostly just sprinkled micro clover seeds in any bare patches and it spread. It is very easy. I can’t imagine needing any help from a gardener or landscaping place. We didn’t even really water it.
We mixed clover into our lawn. It was supposed to be micro clover but our landscaping company got the regular kind instead, which at first I wasn't thrilled about but it's fine. It does seem to help keep the lawn greener.
So this company is local to us in Portland, OR. They specialize in eco-lawns, and they've got a lot of helpful info on their website. They also sell seed, but I'd want to know what's native to the area I live in before buying anything. We moved into our home a year ago so we're still sorting out what we want to do but getting rid of the small amount of grass we have is high on the to-do list!

Our front lawn is a lot of clover, and I love it! When we built our addition they seeded our back lawn with regular grass and I hate it -- it's all brown now and I refuse to water things. I had spread some microclover seed in shady areas where the grass didn't take so well, but I might get more and try to seed the whole lawn with it.

I replaced my entire turfgrass lawn with Dutch white clover. Bought seeds at a local farm supply store. Just be aware that no other groundcover plant approaches turfgrass for foot traffic tolerance and durability.
