We’re nearing the end of a basement renovation and I’m not sure if I’m being picky about some things or if some things are expected? We went from concrete floors/ block walls so everything is new
There are several gouges and dents in the drywall, a couple I know I’m not being picky about, you can literally see the inside of the drywall, but there are probably 8-10 good size dents
There is rippling in the spackle in a few locations
There are cracks along the top of the wall/ spackle
One part of the ceiling looks like something was in the paint? It has 4-5 “blobs”
There is a piece of trim that’s very noticeable where it was joined
One of the floorboards has a gap, you can step on it and watch it dip lower
They’re supposed to be done this week so I want to talk to the GC tomorrow about this but I’m not sure if I’m being unreasonable?

Oh, man, that's terrible! I would expect all of that to get fixed. Six months down the line if you get popped nails or cracks in drywall or whatever that's just the way it goes, but freshly installed stuff should not look like that.

Thanks all, I talked to the contractor Monday morning and thankfully he was like yeah, we’re not done, painters coming back today, I’ll make sure everything is good. And today the painters just finished and it looks great. He fixed everything wrong with the walls, I just need to follow up on the one floor board when he comes back
