Good on NM. But I’m getting pissed right down to my nucleotides watching states that protect our right to abortion have to be the knight in shining armor for their anti-choice neighbors.

I’m just screaming into the abyss: we need federally protected abortions on demand at any time for any reason and we need them now. We need the facilities to perform them and care for patients all over the country now.

I don’t know if I can adequately put my feelings into words … but having this man bestow his permission for me to take a safe and widely available medication after I’ve been raped to prevent the rape from causing a pregnancy … well, that’s a lot of bullshit to put up with … but to add these fucking qualifiers about what I am fucking required to do to get your fucking condescending permission - like report it where you want it reported and report it fast enough and be believed and be taken seriously and and and OVERCOME ALL THE REASONS WOMEN DO NOT REPORT THEIR RAPE is just too damn much.
