Saturday: 60 minute easy trainer ride. It rained in the morning. I also got the new COVID booster Friday afternoon and was exhausted most of the day. Sunday: 38 mile hilly road ride
BQ: My neighbor shared the last of her tomato harvest. I got some grape tomatos for snacking with ranch dressing and 2 that will make a nice sandwich when they finish ripening. Yum!!
Fri - ran 3 mi, biked 2 mi Sat - hiked ~2 mi for Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend with my girls and some friends Sun - gym bike 5 mi, little bit with weights with my older daughter
No real surprises. Glad the rain stopped long enough for the kids’ CC meet to happen this weekend. Despite their initial grumbling, I think each tried her best and I can’t ask for more than that!

BQ: On Friday my boss reached out to me to request that I go on a work trip next month. I have to be there on a Friday night, but already have a 10K scheduled that Saturday morning. I REALLY can’t decline the work trip and I also REALLY want to do the 10K. So I’ll be taking a red eye home and racing in the morning. I hope I don’t regret this plan!
