As a first-timer to WDW, I am getting super stressed LOL. We are as prepared as we can be, but I am working up until we leave, and I have to take DD to Girl Scout camp the weekend before we leave! We are going to be slowly packing over the next couple of weeks, but why the heck does it feel like I'm going to forget something super important?!
I guess I just need time when the kids aren't around to organize everything and get everything set up. Probably will do that on Friday since it's the only day I have where the kids are in school and I'm not working.
Does anyone else get stressed before going to Disney? Any tips for not going crazy?

If you forget something, just about anything you need can be found at Disney or a nearby Walmart. You'll be fine, try to relax and look forward to it. Do you have specific questions about what you might need?

Yes great advice to let go of the stress of forgetting. You’re at Disney, not an island by yourself! You’ll be able to find whatever you need.
I’m extremely type-A so prepped for a go-go-go vacation like how our family does Disney (see: YOU’LL SLEEP WHEN YOU’RE DEAD) is like therapy for me. I hope you’re able to let go of some of the stress you’re feeling and get excited!

Disney is definitely overwhelming...I just got back myself recently. But I agree, everything you possibly need can be found at Disney or at the Walmart nearby. My brother and his family even bought their whole disney gear, ears, souveniers at Walmart when they got there. You will be totally fine!

Yes I am stressed. We are going in November and I'm stressed on a regular basis lately. I'm Amazoning things to myself weekly and putting them in the suitcase so I don't forget them. I have so many ponchos coming on Friday. I feel like there's SO MUCH to get squared away.

Thank you!! This definitely helps - the advice and commiseration! I know we will have a blast. I am actually super duper excited to let the kids know we are going - getting them up super early for a 'school day' and telling them we're going to Disney instead! That will be so fun.
Amazon delivers anything you forget to the resorts. They deliver to the registration desks and they hold it there for you for $6. Totally worth it.
We're going in a couple of weeks for the first time too, and our Disney travel planner suggested Amazoning things like breakfast bars and snacks to our resort in advance, so we don't have to bother packing that stuff. I love this idea, but am not clear on how I make it happen.
Talk to me like I'm 5 about how I get Amazon delivered to my resort, and how I retrieve said delivery. We're staying at Beach Club and checking in on a Sunday, if that matters at all. Do I just time the Amazon order so that it will deliver on my check-in day?

Thanks!
You can do that or order after you arrive. Just make sure you enter the resort address for delivery correctly. If you join a FB page for Beach Club people will tell you which address to use. I do think we put our room #on it too, but we ordered after arrival. I'd think just having your name on it would be ok. The desk holds it for you for whenever you are free to go pick it up.
