Tile bar has nice stuff and reasonable prices for samples. I got samples from Wayfair too.
I did way more w/brick and mortar stores though - if you have a floor & decor nearby they're great. I got most of my tile at The Tile Shop too. I think they both have online presences too.

I like Fireclay Tile. They have a nice assortment of subway tiles in pretty colors. We are using one of their $10 Essentials tiles for our bathroom renovation.

I’ve ordered samples from tile bar and floor and decor. And we have a Tile Shop in town, so I went there. But, my favorite that I can’t distract myself from in from a Best Tile, brick & mortar.
I find B&M tile shopping to be so mentally draining. Wen spent one afternoon and two places, and I came home wiped out and couldn’t get off the couch all evening. I was worn out, and it couldn’t have been from walking around the stores. It was a lot, but not that much. All I can think was that it was that mental over stimulation. Anyway, not your question, just some feelings on tile shopping.

oh yes tile shopping is a special kind of hell. I got my mudroom floor tile at Best Tile, they have really nice stuff, good showrooms and helpful staff.
I hope my tile shopping days are relatively behind me. My one day kitchen will likely have very little backsplash bc I want more windows. There will be something but it won’t be a focal point.
