I finished The Ink Black Heart, 3.5*. I'm reading Things We Do in the Dark by Jennifer Hillier.
Qotw: I've read some books with my kids that I enjoyed as a child. Otherwise, I don't reread books. I have no interest in reading something again when there is so much out there left to read.
In the Early Times: A Life Reframed by Tad Friend (he is a mess and I feel bad for his wife, Amanda Hesser)
Drunk on Love by Jasmine Guillory (eh)
The Night They Vanished by Vanessa Savage (fun)
People Person by Candice Carty-Williams (I had tried this as an ARC and couldn’t get into it but tried again since it was published and it was good!)
The Birdcatcher by Gayl Jones (odd but good)
QOTW:
I very rarely reread. That said I reread Amanda Hesser’s memoir last week about dating her husband because I knew I was going to read his book this week where he discusses his affairs.
I don’t like rereading because there many new books. When I reread some Mary Downing Hahns I read like 30+ years ago as a child I still remembered the plots vividly. Since I really remember what I read I feel like don’t get a lot out of rereading it. It was fun to read those books but they were still surprisingly fresh!

I finished Zeroes by Chuck Wendig, which was enjoyable but not amazing. Now going to start The Sentence by Louise Erdrich (belated book club reading) or Kate Atkinson’s Shrines of Gaiety.
QOTW: I don’t have anything I reread regularly, but I occasionally reread books I liked but don’t remember well, or books that were meaty and complex, so I know I’ll get something new out of them.
I read Uncharted Waters (Getaway, #1) by Sally Hepworth, a Kindle short. It was better than I thought it would be but my expectations were pretty low to start.
Now I am almost done with The Daughter of Doctor Moreau by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. It's good but nothing particularly special. I might have been more interested if I didn't already know the basic outline of the story from the 90s movie.
QOTW: I almost never re-read books with the exception of some quick reads from when I was younger like Christopher Pike books. I don't really enjoy reading when I already know what is going to happen.

Finished up The Night Gardener and The Stardust Thief - really enjoyed both of them.
QOTW: Do you have any books you have reread many times? If you never reread, why not?[/quote]
I've reread The Little Prince a million times, and Turn of the Screw and Alice in Wonderland a couple less than a million times. I've also read some of my favorite childhood books again with my children.

Recently started Elektra, still working on it. Took a few days off from reading since I was out of town last weekend with friends.
QOTW: I can't think of any books I have reread. There are some I'd like to reread, like ones I read in high school but forgot the plot of or ended up skimming them more than reading them because I ran out of time.. lol. I usually don't reread because I already know what's going to happen, so it's not as exciting. Although maybe I would notice new things, I don't know. Also, like others mentioned, there are SO MANY books I want to read that I would rather just keep reading new ones. Someday I'll get through my TBR right? Ha!
I have been reading the Sentence this week. I wrapped up Some of it was True on audio and haven’t started my next audio book.
QOTW: I don’t re-read often. Ire-read Little Women a few years ago (maybe for the board’s book club?) and I reread the Outlander series before one of the new books came out a few years ago. I own hardback versions of those and anticipate reading them again in the future, it’s like visiting old friends, and there is usually something I’ve forgotten in there because so much happens!
