I’m so worried about the GA Senate race. Herschel Walker is the worst candidate ever but of course the GOP is behind him 100000%. Voters really need to turn out for Warnock.
I started this thread because I was far too excited to put it in the October politics thread.
Text the front page of the Sunday Post this week has a giant picture of her and a headline “Welcome to Boebert country” “Voters say congresswoman speaks for rural Colorado - it’s values and it’s fears”
i didn’t even bother to read the article, and It looks it is a subscriber only article.

I think even PA is tightening, giving me something else to stress about.

I have such weird feelings Walker running. It gets wrapped up in “am I being ablist” thoughts, because it seems pretty obvious he has a brain injury from all that football. And then, that “they” just don’t want women (MTG, Bobart) being the loudest idiots/Qs. And then everything that has come out in the past couple days. And you can be both a horrible person and have a disability. And, and, and…

He was an awful person before brain injury. Brain injury didn't cause that.

Point. Most of what I have seen is people laughing at the incoherent things he says. So that’s where that thought is coming from. He is still an awful person.

I hate the Post. They're incredibly biased. I'm also starting to hate one local TV political reporter because she's not even trying to hide her bias.

My primary focus is trying to defeat Julie Pickren, an insurrectionist, from getting elected to the Texas Board of Educators. She is a book banning, transphobic, racist Trumpist and if she gets in she will exacerbate the education problems in Texas.
And then beyond her, it's a no-brainer to vote all Blue in Texas this mid-term.
I'm so tired of seeing the Colorado political ads. I see sooo many for Kirkmeyer. Everytime one of her ads comes on I start yelling about the lies!
Gosh, I hope Polis and Bennet win.
I cannot. The one with all the fake O&G workers with her is just ridiculous. I'm sure they actually feel that way, but there's just no way those aren't actors.

What’s funny is that most of the commenters and my dad (lifetime Colorado R) complain about it the other way. I don’t see a ton of that bias that often but was so turned off this week when that was the big pic on the front page. I subscribed a few years ago to support local journalism (in addition to the sun) and am getting tired of the price hikes every year plus this.

I haven't read the Post itself in a while but I look at their "endorsements" for ballot issues and candidates and they're usually R.
