It's clear he's spiraling. The war in Ukraine revealed that the Russian military is relying on old and falling apart technology and weapons. They're not receiving the supplies they should. There's been reports that they're eating long expired meals. His troops are deserting. Men are fleeing Russia so they're not conscripted into service. Protests are ongoing and growing larger.

The issue now is, what is he going to do? Do the people under his umbrella still support him? Just how much power does he have now?

His own circle of people are publicly critical of what's going on, although it seems like they're taking care to blame the head of the military and not Putin. But still, the fact that there is such criticism that I was reading about this morning is why I'm like, he's got everything to lose if Russia continues to tank in Ukraine. I really am concerned about nukes.

He's really backed himself into a corner with few options to save face at this point, which makes me nervous.

Also concerned he's going to go off the rails if Russia continues to flail like they have been. If he is backed into a corner it's a very bad place for the rest of the world.

I don't know. Biden's statements yesterday were pretty stark. He compared the present situation to the Cuban missile Crisis.

The Ukrainians probably blew up the sole bridge linking the Russian mainland to Crimea. Sooooooo I’m guessing we are a little closer to Putin using nukes.
