Who did you use? How much did it cost? I was thinking if I spent $400 on both, I would still come out way ahead than if I bought them brand new.
I am purchasing this princess bed and dresser for L this weekend and it is in rough shape. The kid drew all over it and it needs to be refinished. Any recs are greatly appreciated!

I used From the Trees, Inc. and was very happy with their work. They are in East Tampa and actually picked up and dropped off the dresser which was really nice as we don't have a vehicle to transport. The refinish cost us $230 I believe.
Their website shows they do mainly custom cabinetry, but they do refinish.

Ricardo gave me an AMAZING price to refinish the bed and dresser. I am so excited.
He also gave me a blind quote of $400/ft for a wall unit. Our wall is like 20ft long, so I think it's something we are going to have to put on the back burner for now

Great news. Remember the price he quoted you as he's good on his word. I forgot the price and he did too. He tried to go up since he didn't remember but I had him meet me back to what I thought he said.
$400/foot for custom wall unit? Damn it's on my back burner too.

I was expecting to pay $2,500 tops for a unit. I guess it makes sense when you think about that price vs a cookie cutter unit that you can buy from Rooms to Go.
