Finally. With a 9-0 vote nonetheless. It was a very bad day in court for TFG today (check out Jose Pagliery from the Daily Beast who is keeping track / attending the hearings).
- Manhattan criminal court hearing on Trump Org's tax dodging
- NY AG's civil case against Trump Org
- 11th Circuit court hearing on Mar-a-Lago documents
- Manhattan federal court civil case where E. Jean Carroll is about to consolidate her current case against Trump with a new one under NY's recent adult survivor's law. Habba (lawyer for Trump) claims she doesn't even know if she will be representing him in court for this case yet. Judge claims he has known for months that this was coming so he should be well advised to know who will be advising him.

So what would happen if/when he flat out just refuses to comply? I know technically he’d be in contempt of Congress, but what would the actual consequences be?

The article says they refused to block the Treasury Department from releasing them so I don’t think he has any control over it at this point.

I mean I hVe been waiting 6-8 years for him to be held accountable in anyway. Each time he finds a way to avoid. I can’t wait for the tide to change if this is the actual time.

I think the D committee members and their staffs are going to be lining up to pull all-nighters to review this shit while there’s still time to act. Order in takeout and stock up on the caffeine shots and LFG!
