agnes we started Bad Sisters but the first ep didn't really grab us. Is there a certain # of episodes we should give it?
Mmmm maybe give it one more? I don't really remember what the first episode covered, but most episodes were very similar vibe and at times I found it hard to watch because JP was just so, so terrible.

im pretty sure I liked it right away, but in general if something doesn’t grab my attention I will watch a couple episodes and see how I feel then. Like Schitt’s Creek didn’t pull me in right away, but it’s one of my favorite shows now. I watched 3 episodes of House of Cards when it first came out and just couldn’t watch anymore.

JP is supposed to be terrible. That’s why he’s dead.

I know, but just HOW evil he was and kept getting away with it made me actually physically uncomfortable at times. I didn’t say the show was bad, it was just hard to watch sometimes. I assume that was the point and we did finish it so clearly it worked.

Adding Welcome to Chippendales to the list. Only a few episodes have aired so far, but I was hooked from the beginning. Kumail Nanjiani stars in the origin story of the famous strippers.
I just watched all of the US version of Ghosts on Paramount+ and enjoyed it. Some episodes are much stronger than others, but overall I laughed quite a bit.
The British version is on HBO Max and is delightful.

We've been watching Wednesday on Netflix. It's good campy/scary fun.
If you need fluffy reality TV that isn't GBBO, watch Escape to the Chateau on Peacock. So, SO good.
9 seasons! If it's as good as GBBO, I thank you for your service. I'll see you all in approx 2500 viewing hours.
I mean, it is only about one family, so it's not like there's new people every season. But it's so stinking interesting what they do and how they do it and all that. We loved it. And there are only 8-10 episodes per season, so it goes by fast.

8-10?! I'm watching on channel 4's streaming. They have 3 per series, and I didn't think I was missing anything.
I'm loving it. I love the dynamic of engineer & artist. It reminds me so much of my family where we're either one or the other although have appreciation for the others' talents. I love how her eclectic taste just works, and I'm in awe b/c I'm definitely not of the creative art mind That's the other side of fam. And I love how he's just the master of seemingly everything except art. Engineer, gardener, chef, inventor. What?! I'm proud that I have a decent eye for color and know how to run a phone line (dad made me when I was 13 to get our 2nd line. I ran it to sister's room, too, and she just la-di-da did nothing).

I think it was like that at first, maybe that's what I'm remembering, haha. I'm glad you like it!
