The Big Brunch
SO GOOD. Just lightheaded and fun. (I meant lighthearted, obvs, but lightheaded is funny too given the amount of booze Dan Levy and the other judges consume, so I’m keeping it.)
Hallmark did my favorite guilty pleasure Christmas movie, princess diaries type working girl meets prince, but added CORGIES! A Corgi Christmas or something like that, found it on Hulu.
1899 is good so far. But I stopped second episode because I got the peacock+ BF deal and can catch up on my worse guilty pleasure, Below Deck. I do not recommend that, unless you are like me and want to see what you missed out on spending your 20s on your career.
Yeah, the Lindsay Lohan Christmas movie and the corgies. There’s another one on Netflix with Freddie Prinz Jr too. I’ve also been recording all the new Christmas movies on hallmark. Hallmark movies are better than Lifetime (I know it’s a low bar) and Lacey Chabert movies are some of the best.
Great British Baking show has some holiday-specific episodes on Netflix too.
I’m binging Buying Beverly Hills, which is the kind of dumb high-end real estate program you can have in the background. This one specifically features Kyle Richards’ husband and kids.
I just watched all of the US version of Ghosts on Paramount+ and enjoyed it. Some episodes are much stronger than others, but overall I laughed quite a bit.
Atlanta just finished a week or two ago White Lotus - this season feels more cohesive than the first season Andor - slow burn but exceptional sets and costuming. Definitely one of the best Star Wars series.
We started watching Kleo - German language on Netflix. Loving the costuming, sets and film quality. It just feels so...of the time period.
My H just watched The Noel Diary on Netflix because it was #1 in the top shows this week. He claimed to be disappointed when he realized that it was basically a hallmark movie, but he continued to watch the whole thing, so...
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

Agreed with agnes. Bad Sisters was excellent. Dead to Me was a great series finale.
Alaska Daily is very good, and, according to a family friend (went to high school with FIL and UIL in Anchorage) who spent his journalistic career with Anchorage Daily, after which the show is modeled, it's a pretty true to life depiction.
Is Quantum Leap a reboot of the reboot? I swear this is the 3rd or 4th iteration.

🤷♀️ I’m pretty sure it’s the first reboot. I loved the original one when I was a kid
catch up on my worse guilty pleasure, Below Deck. I do not recommend that, unless you are like me and want to see what you missed out on spending your 20s on your career.
Lol. I grew up in Ft Laud. where so much of the yachting industry is based, including Capt Lee and a bunch of BD crew. I had connections I didn't appreciate as it was just the background noise. You mean, it's not normal on your daily drive to count 9 cruise ships and a dozen megayachts in port? That's not counting the regular container ships at berth or awaiting one. We'd regularly just hang out on the beach at the inlet for funsies.
And, yet, it never occurred to me to even do it for a short time. Missed opportunities!
Yellowstone! I got into it earlier this year and I love it. I definately find cowboys attractive after watching that, lol. I'm a sucker for any reality show on Bravo bc it's mindless entertainment. Abbott Elem. is a good one too.

Ahh below deck, one of my guilty pleasures although I am finding it difficult to get into adventure and down under, they just don't have it for me.

Just coming back to say I started Wednesday and it's fucking awesome. I'm loving the tie-ins to Addams family values and the whole Pilgrims Indians marvelous commentary. And updated for 2022 with snide comments about social media.

Hulu: - Abbott Elementary, Welcome to Wrexham, the Dropout Netflix: - GBBO, Trapped / Entrapped (Icelandic crime show with subtitles) HBO: White Lotus, The flight attendant
OH! Lindsay Lohan's foray into the holiday rom com field is just stupid. So bad that it's good. Falling for Christmas on Netflix.
OMG - I watched that and DS (16) was asking if it was her movie - guess there is a bunch of stuff online about how it's supposed to be her re-entry into acting, etc... I was just lol that he knew about it
