Was there a thread that I missed? I just voted in the first round. I thought I read more new books this year, but only hit a couple. I think the selection looks better than the last couple of years. Also, is there a way to get a list of everything that was nominated? A lot of these look good, and I want to add them to my 2023 TBR list.
I know Lessons in Chemistry is supposed to be really good, and I've got it on hold. Always looking for more recommendations.
I voted in the first and final round. I was disappointed that there was no write in option this year. To my knowledge they don't keep a list of every book that was nominated. I would write down all the books that made the final round before voting ends on the 4th because you may lose the list.
I agree that the list looks slightly better than last year, but I still think there were a lot of good books that didn't make it because they lacked the necessary popularity.

travella, yes I feel like a lot of the lists are popularity based. See Jodi Picolt or Colleen Hoover...sure some of the books are probably really good, others are they "should" be nominated because the other is really hot right now. I'm sure some people vote because they like the author without reading the book. I've been trying to vote only if I've read (and enjoyed) the book.
