“ A federal jury in Washington on Tuesday found Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and Kelly Meggs, another member of the far-right organization, guilty of seditious conspiracy in connection with the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, a victory for the government in a case that involved a rarely-used Civil War era statute.
Three other members of the group who were on trial alongside Rhodes and Meggs — Jessica Watkins, Kenneth Harrelson and Thomas Caldwell — were found not guilty on the seditious conspiracy charge. All five defendants were found guilty of obstruction of an official proceeding and aiding and abetting for their actions on Jan. 6.“
Elmer Dudd Rhodes & Meggs could get decades in jail (fingers crossed).
That link took me wayyyyy down a rabbit hole. You can track every single person charged in this crime and what their status is (convicted/guilty plea, charges, sentencing), etc.
Florida had the vast majority of those convicted, followed by - guess who - Texas.
Almost every state had someone representing them. So sad.

Since I live in Pennsylvania and I spent the first part of my childhood in central PA, I have been closely following this story of the young woman from Central Pennsylvania who allegedly stole a laptop from Nancy Pelosi's office and then allegedly tried to sell it to Russia.
Her trial was this past month. Her sentencing is in February. However, the judge ruled that she has to stay behind bars until her sentencing. Have fun spending the holidays in jail, Riley.

And the devastation of Trump continues. Don't get me wrong - every one of these fools should be locked up. They are adults who made choices. But none of this would have happened if it weren't for Trump. People really literally threw away their families and their lives for their support of him.

I couldn’t find that particular rabbit hole in the yard. Can you point it out?

I think she’s talking about the graphs. You can click on the drop down boxes for defendants or data on sentences, state, charges, or affiliations.

This is what I keep thinking. People ruined their lives and the lives of others for Trump. What are they thinking now? I would love to know how many of them have seen the light.

I'm guessing zero. These people are way too far gone. They see themselves as glorious martyrs I'm sure.
I noticed a fair number of women were charged, and for those in Texas, most of them got slaps on the wrists or home confinement when a male who plead guilty got some jail time. I didn't take the time to see if maybe they were married so one of them got jail time and the other home confinement, so their kids didn't have to go into foster care... but I saw almost no women with time behind bars.
I want these (mostly white) women to get locked up and face stiffer penalties. Between Jan 6 and their votes in general, they are ruining this country.

The woman in the quoted article got 14 days of incarceration, but she is allowed to serve her time on weekends and be at home during the weekdays due to certain caretaking responsibilities.
However, from what I understand, she snitched on a bunch of the people that she was with that day. I think that she even testified to investigators against the man that she accompanied that day.
Not saying that I excuse her. However, I am under the impression that she got off "easy" because she agreed to accept a plea bargain and be an informant against other (male, mostly) insurrectionists.
of course he forced his wife into nonconsensual sex work.
He told her she would need to quit her job teaching ballroom and country dancing and instead support them both by working full time as a stripper so he could focus on doing an excellent job in school, according to Adams. They married, but she found stripping degrading and it clashed with her conservative Mormon upbringing, she said.
“Every night the drive was just so bad. I would just throw up every single night before I went in, it was just so awful,” Adams said. Rhodes would pressure her to go further, increase her exposure or contact with men to make more money

I’m sure it sounds sarcastic when I say it, but I am being literal: death cult. “Dakota grew up ‘absolutely believing’ in his father's view of the world - what he described as a ‘vision of a shadowy, malicious communist conspiracy seeking to institute a New World Order… aiming to seize total power and institute a one world government that would intentionally sow chaos’.”
@ in this article which is a profile of the ways this terrorist oppressed his family.
The leader of the Oath Keepers militia had dominated their lives until that moment. Tasha and Stewart had been married for nearly 25 years, and she was familiar with his manic periods. He'd been up all night on a tear - working out, listening to music, practising Filipino stick fighting, pacing the floor. It was a pattern of manic activity, Dakota said, that was familiar throughout years of emotional abuse and heightened paranoia. Would he now stop them from fleeing? Had he noticed his favourite gun was missing? Would he question why John-Boy, the family dog, was along for the ride to the dump? Dakota gripped the wheel while Tasha looked down at her daughters, hidden under the windows, their eyes opened wide.
