Finished The Paper Palace. It was pretty good, I gave it 4 stars.

Currently reading The Many Daughters of Afong Moy. Interesting so far!

QOTW: Nothing in particular, but anything warm usually works

I just finished Beneath a Scarlet Sky by a Mark Sullivan,3.5* (very interesting story, but I had issue with the writing). I will start The Personal Assistant by Kimberly Belle next.

Qotw: Soup and stews

I've been reading Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher. It was recommended by a friend and is pretty fantastic. I hadn't been prioritizing reading for the last week or two but this has changed that.

QOTW: I like to make chili. I'd do borscht but I don't have anyone to help me eat it!

Currently reading Winterwood, about a girl from a family of witches who finds a boy in the woods after a snowstorm has cut off access to the town. It's perfect for this time of year, but it's dragging for me.


QOTW: Do you have a favorite meal for when it's really cold out? I'm all about chili. It's one of my favorite meals, but especially when it's cold or wet out.
