I don’t really follow the family closely, but I used to work with one of the kids (Janelle’s kid). He was such a nice, genuine, thoughtful person. I’m sure it must have been hard for him to grow up with his family in the public eye (though obviously his parents chose that for them, he and his siblings didn’t get any say in it).
I imagine this must be hard for the siblings. Maybe not much different from other families that go through divorce, but not entirely the same either.
It doesn’t seem like he’s had a marriage with any of them, other than Robyn, for a long time. I hope the others get their own spin-off post-Kody show. He’s so gross.
AND she's no longer following Robyn on IG. AND she's following Dr. Ramani who has a podcast called Navigating Narcissism.
I want them to cancel Sister Wives and give Janelle and Christine a show called Survived Sister Wives. I would totally watch those two start exploring new relationships and just living.
I've spent a lot of time on SW TikTok the last few days. It's a spiral.
I had to look it all up as I haven’t watched for years but thought they divorced awhile back. I see they legally divorced so he could marry Robyn, then became platonic, then separated, and now divorced. I don’t get it all, but I hope she finds some happiness. I really hope it doesn’t have to do with their trans child, but I wouldn’t put it past him.
We (me, H, SIL) were just talking about Janelle leaving Kody last night, or maybe the night before. I can't say I'm surprised that with Christine and Janelle gone, that Kody and Meri's platonic non-marriage has blown up too.
My new question is how long Robin will be willing to deal with all of his BS when she's the primary focus. He's always come across as such an arrogant asshat, that I have to imagine he's even worse when the cameras are off.

I’m really shocked that their family has, for lack of a better term, fractured like this. I haven’t watched the show in several years, but did watch until Robyn had her first baby with Kodi. I don’t want to use the term brainwashed, but it did seem like all were very committed to this way of life. Most of them had grown up in polygamy.
I hope all can find happiness away from what I always thought was a horrendously unequal relationship. Kodi is a turd and I abhorred the way he treated his wives.
I’ve been so happy seeing their kids strike out on their own, especially Meri’s child, Leon. The bravery to live out and proud when your background is fundamentalist Mormon is amazing.
I think Christine gave the other 2 some bravery. She led and they saw that she could do it and they followed her lead. I hope the show with douche bag gets cancelled and they get their own.
I think there is a show on Sunday night with all of them.

Yes! All of this! No one is going to watch the Kody and Robyn show but I’d be all over the adventures of Janelle and Christine.
I feel so bad for Garrison. How the fuck are toy so self centered that you forget your child’s birthday?!
From my understanding she didn't really leave. She's just confirmed that Kody says it's over and that she would still be open to reconciliation but she doesn't think he is.
I don't think there was anything left for her to leave, you know? He flat out said he's done, she was hoping but it seems like now she gets it. She seems to be living her own life anyways. LuLaRoe doesn't sell itself.

This was a long time coming. For many seasons Christine has been begging for Kody to pay attention to her and her children, and she’s been talking about leaving for a couple years.
She called him on their anniversary and he asked, 'Why are you calling me?" He's SUCH AN ASSHOLE.
She more made it sound like Kody had told her they were done but didn't want it made public. I feel so bad for her when she said she would be willing to give it another chance if he was ever open to it. He has already said on the show that he wouldn't care if she left. What more does he have to do before she would truly leave?

I didn't really take her comments to mean she left him. I thought she was just saying that she's basically not married to him because Kody doesn't want a romantic relationship with her but she just sticks around hoping something will change.
I just saw more previews and wow, Kody is horrendous. I can't even imagine how he is to live with. Someone needs to tell him that he can't treat the host like one of his wives. I'm so sad that Meri doesn't think she deserves more.
I watched, with interest, for the first few seasons (I stopped around when the ‘fled’ to Vegas and built those ridiculous houses on the cul-de-sac). So, I’m shocked that after dropping watching Sister Wives for several years, I randomly started again because one of our new streaming channels had it available. And then BOOM it’s suddenly interesting and relevant in pop culture discussion. What are the chances?
