We’re going to be in Disney World the first week of April 2023. My kids are 8(m) and 12(f). Talk to me about pin trading, hidden Mickey, and anything we need to do.
We were there last year during Easter. My DD was 8 at the time and she did an “Egg Hunt” in Epcot where I paid something like $10 for an egg shaped paper with egg shaped stickers of different characters. We had to walk around the World Showcase trying to spot the painted eggs of the different characters. At the end she turned her paper back in for a prize. Besides that, there wasn’t much else with Easter theming that I recall in the parks.
We went for Easter last year as well. It was pretty crowded especially on Easter weekend. Not much theming at all. Check out the egg houses at Grand Floridian.
But we had a great time. Weather was great. We got up early to do parks in the morning every day when it wasn’t too hot or crowded and then we mostly did the pool at the hotel in the afternoon so we never felt too hot. Back to park or another resort for dinner. My kids were younger, 3, 5 and 7 so we didn’t do parks at night too late but this is the plan I would do when they are older and we go back. I would definitely go over Easter week again too.
