After almost three years, our contractor finally got us in for the renovation of our downstairs powder room!
When we bought it in 2008 (Seller's stuff):
With just minor updates (It's so small -- 4 feet square -- it's really hard to take photos):
Moodboard for new bathroom!:
Demo started today and they have the new drywall up already! So excited to get rid of the yucky stick-on floor tile and the cardboard-y fake-tile stuff that was on the walls! Plus, whoever did it used wood glue instead of caulk at the baseboards so it looked like there was always this dirty yellow line there. Yuck.
Your mood board combo looks lovely! We went with a floor tile with more “interest” in our small basement bathroom and I love how it makes more of a statement than a plain tile would have.
I love the mood board. Is the cabinet the one you ordered and had to go through obstacles to get right or am I confusing you with another poster? I liked it enough on its own, but it looks really nice with everything else.

I was thinking that too! Has it been that long! It's going to be great - lovely mood board.

Yes! The never-ending saga of the Anthropologie cabinet! :-D
It may have seemed weird that I was being a stickler but it really was the inspiration for all the rest of the bathroom!
Looks like they don't sell it anymore, I wonder if the quality control issues were just too problematic. I wonder if they ever posted my reviews. On the other hand, I'm glad I got one I liked when I did, even though I've had to store it for more than a year, because I don't think I would have found one I liked as much!

I love your inspiration! Where is the cabinet going since you also have a mirror on the mood board?
We redid our tiny basement bathroom a year ago, and also did busy tile. The floor is about 4x5. I'm sure it will "hurt resale" whenever we sell to not be plain beige grey whatever, but we paid 20k for the stupid bathroom and I want to really like it hahaha. And that tile makes me happy every time I go in to the bathroom.

So, I'm basically just swapping things out one-for-one, so I hope it will fit. My only concern is the new toilet seems a little long (29" deep -- I was looking for round but it's so hard to find, they are all elongated these days), so we'll see.
The picture with the mirror on the moodboard is actually just to show the wall color with white wainscoting. Here's the sink wall before -- where the square mirror is a round mirror with a brushed-gold frame will hang, and where the art is hopefully another (new) art will go. And on the opposite wall, where the art is currently, the cabinet will hang above another towel rod. I *think* I measured way back when I was ordering everything? But at worst if it looks like it's going to be tight I'll switch the cabinet and art. The toilet takes up enough room that extra depth to something hanging above it is not going to be too much of an issue hopefully.
Yeah, I was trying to find duller brass fittings but the faucet is ... REALLY shiny. I will see how it looks with everything else in there, but I'm kinda thinking I might swap it out for a brushed gold or champagne bronze or whatever they are calling the newer shade of more matte gold/bronze.
