Women Talking (movie) TW: sexual assault

Has anyone seen this movie?

It has a stellar cast and rave reviews, but I saw the preview a few days ago and it was kind of disturbing. 



TW:
The plot is about a group of women in an isolated religious cult who are drugged and raped by men in their community and the aftermath. Apparently, it's based on a book that was inspired by real life events. In some ways it seems promising the focus on the women and them empowering themselves, but I'm afraid I might find it too upsetting.

If you saw it (or read the book) what did you think?

I haven't seen or read it either, but the involvement of children in the source story makes me not want to know any more.
