I started watching The Head on HBO last night. It’s about murder at an Antarctic Research Station. I’ve watched 2 1/2 episodes and it’s pretty good so far.
I’ve seen the original Ghosts but not the American remake. Has anyone seen both ? Looking at the episode descriptions they seem pretty similar.
I’ve seen both. They start out pretty similar but as American shows have more episodes, they diverged. I actually really like both now! I watched the British first and leaned to that one, but now really like the American.
IT Crowd On Netflix. Slow Horses on Apple. If you like British Crime, this one is really good. Derry girls Sex education Abbott Elem
If you want to know where to find shows, download Just Watch app. You plug in what streaming services you have, and when you search a show, it tells you what it’s on and whether you have it or not.
Thanks for slow horses. I also love British crime shows. There are never enough eps, though

I really liked the first season! I’m excited there is apparently a new second season, I wasn’t expecting it.

when i first started watching British tv - AbFab! - i always wanted more. But I’ve come to appreciate the short seasons. Especially with crime. The stories are tighter.

I'm good with 10 per season. 6 just seems so short but it does allow for an entire season storyline.
Also I'm pretty sure Harriet Walter is in at least half these shows and not just crime.

my husband and i joke that there are only 5 English actors and that’s why we see them in everything. 😂

I'm always going to IMDb. It's kind of like looking up hitg and realizing they've all been in at least 1 dick wolf episode. They've probably all done some time in EastEnders and coronation street.

We always say we are “accidental completists” of so many UK actors. We have seen nearly everything they’ve done without trying at all. I think I’ve seen Ace Bhatti more than his own family stretching back to the early 2000s.
Jack Ryan season 3 although I am not impressed and I think we both may have dozed off during the episode we watched last night.
We had to rewatch the first episode because we didn't pay enough attention. There are definitely a lot of moving parts. It wasn't one we could just half watching while playing on our phones. lol We are only a couple episodes in at this point, so I'm hoping it picks up.
My husband bought me the entire Little House on the Prairie TV series on DVD for Christmas. We have been watching an episode a night. It's really enjoyable.
It is soooo good and very unique. Its a Swedish language tv show, I think there are 2 seasons and it is described as funny, sad, erotic and transgressive.
"This is the workplace comedy as reimagined by Luis Buñuel and just as constantly surprising and thrilling as that suggests. Love & Anarchy can be laugh-out-loud funny, sexy and sad. A married consultant and a young IT technician assign each other challenges that question societal norms in a flirtatious game leading to unintended consequences."
I'm Slowly enjoying: In The Dark La Reina del Sur Love
Back on my oldies kick, Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 is absolutely hilarious.
I can't believe it was originally shown on ABC; it's way too good for network TV.
My husband and I were prepared to hate that show and we both loved it. It's one of the reasons we stopped watching new shows. Everything we like gets cancelled!

I got really sucked in to this and loved the 1st season. I'm not sure it needed a 2nd season, but I started it and am trying it.

I just started "Home Economics" on ABC/Hulu and it's pretty good.
I'm almost done with Fliechman's (or however you spell it) in trouble. It's really good, but it gets really heavy.
Glutton for punishment, I'll probably start another season of Married at First Sight, but I'm waiting for the after wedding episodes. I'm sure it's a train wreck.
Finally, I'll probably try Chelsea from Teen Mom 2's house flipping/design show, but I don't have high hopes. Good for her finding a way back in to reality TV. She was pretty "over it" at the end of her time on TM2. I guess it's different if she's actually doing the work, and her kids aren't on the show.

I feel the same way. I started to watch the second season, but I’m not as interested, also it just seems more gory which is a turn off.
