It seems to have slowed down here in the South LA County beach area. Some wind gusts and a little steady rain still. Last night around 9 we had some big thunder and lightening and then it started dumping rain like I’ve never seen.
I haven’t been down to see how the beach or harbor looks after this (there are pictures of it from the last storm up thread), but I have a feeling it’s a mess. Up in The Valley where my sister in law is, they are showing it in the news. Lots of flooding. It’s a mess.
They just issued a tornado watch for metro so cal zones. It is working its way down the coast and I know San Luis Obispo County is under a flash flood watch and a 5 year old is missing after being swept away from a vehicle in a flooded creek bed. I'm down in OC and it is supposed to start heavily around 8 p.m..
Do you have a link to the tornado watch? Just wondering if I need to prep the kids for what we do if a tornado is coming our way. I think my office closet is our best bet.
