Well, kinda. We know it won't actually be done until later in the summer, but we do have our first appointment with a contractor next week and in contact with another (hopefully to have him come some time in the next few weeks).
I've done videos and drawings of what is currently there. One is a bathroom with just a bath. We're going to redo it using the same items but add a shower. We're going to put the shower and tub behind a glass wall and make that part a wet room. Here's what it looks like now.
The second bathroom is meant to be a steam room with a shower. We haven't been able to get it working and the ceiling is disgusting with mould stains and the fan isn't really doing much. We want to rip out the steam room stuff and make it into a shower room with toilet, sink and shower. This will become my MIL's bathroom (as she doesn't use a bathtub). We need something she can just walk into as she's in her early 80s and already struggling with stepping up things.
Here's a few pinterest ideas I've saved (sorry they are huge):

This may be obvious, but I wanted to mention planning grab bars in multiple places in the bathroom that will belong to MIL! My mom is in her 80s and even though she's very healthy otherwise she has had a lot of falls. In the bathroom we built in our new addition we planned all the grab bars in advance so we could have extra bracing for them if needed. They make ones that look nice. We have one in the shower, one next to the tub, and one next to the toilet.
That's going to be awesome! When you say 'same items' do you mean literally or just same footprint? I do love your original bathroom with the black and white floor, but I can imagine it's old and in need of upgrades.
Your inspiration pics are absolutely lovely. I really like the colours in the first one; the hinges etc. almost look like rose gold? Love it.
I really like the look of the glass wall shower, but I always wonder if it would be cold/drafty? (I have no idea as I don't think I've ever been in one...)

Same items. The toilet, sink and bathtub aren't actually very old (I think something like 6 yrs and weren't actually used all that much by the last person who owned the house (for 2 yrs). They look barely used. The tile will be changed but we'll probably stick with something similar to keep in the style.

Nice! They're gorgeous, glad they just look historic and are in good shape!
