Mine is this little table that I found at an estate auction. I think that I ended up paying like $40. It’s the absolute perfect size for my entryway and after 7 years I still absolutely love it.
Mine would probably be…my bed. It’s a king, Mennonite craftsmanship in solid knotty pine. But my DH is sick and currently lying in it so I won’t post a pic.
Instead I will post a pic of my second favourite item - this zebra print holds a prominent place in our main living space and I consider her the matron of our home (I realize that may make me weird). *poof*
My dining room table. I wanted a big ol' slab table for years but they were all too big or thousands and thousands of dollars. I finally found a slab on Etsy that I loved, ordered the hairpin legs, and we made it ourselves. H jokes that if we ever have a fire, I'll get the kid and dog, he gets the table (my third kid, lol).
I have set of solid cherry shaker style drop leaf dining tables that my dad made. Each one is a different length, but they're all the same width so you can string them end to end for large dinners. The largest one seats 8, the middle one seats 6, and the smallest one seats 4. Most of the time, one is in an office, one is in the kitchen, and the largest one is in the dining room, but together they seat 14 in one long run, or up to 18 if each one is separate (so you're getting the ends on each table).
I also have a spinet piano that belonged to my grandmother, that my late mom and her sisters learned to play on. I never played piano myself, but my daughter now plays it.
I love this poll - I need to get pics, but I'm torn between my big orange couch and antique pieces like the buffet from DH's grandmother (very solid white oak, she finished it herself), or the antique cabinet in our front room....
So, this post makes me realize I don’t *love* most of my furniture. It just is, and it works. But, there is this one Victorian desk/table with these cool lion feet. I wanted it for a desk, but it’s too short for a modern office chair (or my thighs are too thick). So it just sits in my office behind me and holds stuff.

I have a small cherry table that was made by a family friend. He was dealing with Parkinson's at the time, so the fact that he worked to create it for me and my husband made it worth more than any other gift we received for our wedding.

I have an antique wood plant stand that I inherited from my mother, but it was originally my great-grandmother's. It has ornately carved flowers and a granite inlay top, and it's so unique and interesting.
I've recently been thinking a lot about my furniture and decor and how to make my house feel more curated, because I feel pretty "meh" about most of the stuff in our house. I've been watching a lot of furniture restoration and thrifting videos recently, and now my plan is to start looking for used pieces that really speak to me so we can make some updates.

I love our Crate and Barrel Axis sectional. It was one of the highly recommended sofas when we did our research, and it has lived up to the billing 6 yrs later. The material is soft, comfortable, and stain friendly.
