Last year was the first year I tried to sign up and by 11am, 1pm? It was a hot mess. I was waitlisted for everything that we wanted and it took a ton of shuffling. This year I set my alarm for 6 am. I had the camps in my wish list and it moved over to my cart immediately at 6 am for me to purchase. I am annoyed that you doubled your prices though. Now it is a specialty camp price range rather than oh my kid can go to multiple sessions, and it is only 9-3. But anyway, I am proud of me remembering and setting my alarm. I also planned to work out with the extra hour of time, but somehow took a 40 minute shower/ bath, like how? Then it was time to get DS up, and I ended up cleaning the kitchen instead (second cleaning since dinner because dinner was messy).
Dear DD I'm so excited that you are excited about your Ancient Egypt project at school. I think it is very neat that you want to combine two topics (mummification and pyramids). I really hope your teacher likes your ideas today. A pyramid made out of cake is unique and you can totally do it with minimal help. Mom
Dear Ms D I really hope you approve DD's topics and project. Please let her be outside of the academic box of shadow boxes and slide shows. The only thing this mom needs to do is buy all the kitchen supplies. Mom who is happy my kid is excited about the project.

Dear work,
Almost 4 years of logging each and every one of my emails. I would spend the last 30 minutes of my day recording how many emails I answered and the topic, all for "stats". And then today, we're told on a Teams call that headquarters hasn't been using those stats so we can stop. While I'm grateful I no longer have to do this tedious and useless task, I wonder how long ago we could have stopped. I believe these should have been used to more evenly distribute clients and the workload among coworkers, but it never happened.
Dear summer camps, This is the first year we're juggling multiple camps and locations and not just sending the girls to the Boys and Girls Club all summer. And somehow, it's all working out ok so far? I'm amazed that nothing overlaps in weird ways (knock on wood) and it won't end up costing us too much more because we're taking a few weeks off to just hang at home too. Signed, Grateful scheduler
Dear ExH, Showing our kids the photos and profiles of women you are talking to on dating apps is not appropriate. These are women you haven't even gone on a date with yet! And let's not forget that your fiancee just left you a few months ago and you still talk to her regularly. WTF is your life?! Signed, Glad you're the Ex
Math teacher - I asked you to send home assignments repeatedly last week. I did not keep dd2 home by choice. She was sick with COVID for about 5 mins, but policy states that she has to stay home for 5 days. So she stayed home, and you sent no work home despite me asking. So it is NOT FAIR that she should have to take a test THE DAY she returns after no review work.
ELA teacher - you have been giving out the same list of choices for spelling work since week 1. An option is to write the words in alpha order. Since you give the class the words in that order, it stands to reason that kids will choose that easy assignment. You CANNOT tell a bunch of 4th graders that they CHEATED because they chose that assignment each week, simply because you were too STUPID to realize what was going on.
Signed, Pissed off mom of a really upset 4th grader.
I really am trying to get my mental health in order. This means therapy. So… why is it so hard to get this done? First I march with a very lovely but disorganized therapist who showed up late, cut sessions early, scheduled sessions for times when I told her repeatedly that I could not meet, and made the sessions about her.
Then I got a recommendation for someone with a mile-long wait list.
Then I found someone I felt like I clicked with, met with a few times, and now she’s stepping away and taking a leave of absence.
It’s so draining to go through the introductory process over and over again. I’m close to giving up.
I think I have written this before, but you suck. You always suck. But today when I need to work and Dd needs to do online school you break down completely. And now I have to stay home Friday for a technician, again.
Signed. glad I have a tablet with data. And I need Starlink.
This health stuff is annoying. Every time we do one test looking for something specific, we find something else completely unrelated. The opthamologist was intended to help rule out Sjorgens and IDD4-RD, and now we’ll have to follow up in 4 months for mild proptosis to make sure it’s not something we need to be concerned about.
WPs I just ordered gold shimmer fondant for DD's Egypt project. She got the okay from her teacher to build a cake pyramid plus a slideshow. I'm happy DD is happy 186mox

DH You are eating crackers! Wife and daughter
My daughter is doing an Ancient Egypt project too! Must be February!
Dear February, You haven't started out very well. First it was my sister's concerning MRI/scans. Then our car repair expenses are at least twice what was estimated. I'm having weird stomach cramps. And a beloved neighborhood dog was hit and killed by a car. That was only one day. You have 27 days to redeem yourself. I'm not asking for politicians to miraculously make collaborative decisions that benefit people, my children to stop fighting or unicorns to poop rainbows. Just for things not to suck daily. Signed, Not impressed

Add us to the Africa projects! Each year the middle school students do projects on a country in a specific region. Last year was Central and South America, this year is Africa. They research for months, create really ornate posters (with lights, 3D figures, etc), dress up in traditional clothing and do presentations - first for their classes, then for the rest of the school. Tonight is the Cultural Fair - the kids set up all of their posters, dress up, and parents come and walk around to see everything. The kids make traditional food and they usually have regional music and dancing.
Dear WPs, Tomorrow I'm taking the day off to get a boudoir photo shoot! I booked it months ago and can't believe it's finally here. This is way outside my comfort zone, but the photographer came highly recommended from my best friend and she focuses on making you feel empowered rather than just straight sexy poses. Tonight I have to figure out what exactly I'm going to bring to wear and hype myself up. Signed, Equal parts nervous and excited
You suck! Saying that the gel shots I need for my knees are not “medically necessary” because me being in constant pain from needing knee replacements since I have bone on bone arthritis isn’t “life threatening” is complete bullshit! Having to pay out of pocket almost $4,000 for these shots is a huge deal on a teacher’s salary. I hope every person who was part of denying this claim immediately develops bone on bone arthritis in both knees.

Dear ice,
You also suck.
Quoting myself. Att showed up and the technician said its fixed and ran out of here like the hounds of hell were chasing him . By the time I pulled it up he was out. It was not fixed. I called att and blew up. I don't have time to take off again. I called someone a moron, the technician I believe, and asked fir supervisors. They escalated the case and we will see what that gets. I hate att.
