I've never had a problem getting reservations for either and I log in when I wake up (between 6 and 6:30 PST) on the day the reservations open.
I've found the app can be glitchier than the website if you have the choice, but I've been able to reserve using both.
Once you're in the reservation system you're in (if there's a queue when you get in) so I'd make your Oga res first before Blue Bayou if that's more important. I also use "lunch" or "dinner" instead of an exact time because I've found that's a wider window of times.
BB is really tough to get reservations. When we ate there in November our server, who has worked there for years, told us they only give so many reservations out and the rest they do for walkups and half the time they have empty tables.
Ogas, even if you can't get reservations is super easy to get walk ups. You may have to wait 20 minutes or so, but I've never not gotten a walkup. I don't even bother making reservations anymore. The only difference is if you get reservations you likely will get a booth or be seated. Otherwise you won't and will have to stand. Standing doesn't bother me because we're only in there for 45 minutes or so.
I had a group of 5 and was not able to get all of us together at Ogas. I used MouseWatcher for dining alerts and every few days one would open but people are FAST. The week we were there my phone was pinging nonstop, I think people change plans a lot in the last few days, so if you don't get it keep trying!
Ogas was NOT doing walkups when we went this last week and Disneyland was not busy. Also, I didn't think Ogas was anything special to be honest.
My DH is a HUGE HUGE Star Wars fan, so this is a must.
We got reservations this morning. They are all sold out now.
We are going during spring break here and LA, so it's gonna be super busy.
Ha yeah. I mean the theming was nice but I guess (in my head) I thought it be more like the star wars experience in DW where there were characters walking around and interacting. But none of that. It was just a bar with a star wars theme. I guess I just wanted more?
I am glad you got a reservation! If you haven't been to star wars land yet he will love it overall. I was really impressed with how tell they desigend everything and love the two rides.

Lightning lane is probably the way to go if it's a must do.
Where are you staying? We stayed on property last month which got us in half an hour early so we were able to be at the Galaxy Edge rope drop at park opening. Being that close gave us the ability to walk on, but that really only works with early entry.
Quick Question: any tips on how to get in to Ride of the Resistance? We will buy the lightning land or genie+, whatever we need.
Rise is not available under regular Genie+ so you need to purchase the extra lightning lane. It is typically pretty much immediate return when you purchase it, we never had trouble riding it.
I would typically wait until the return time was at lunch. Then we would go eat in Star Wars world and get Genie Plus for Smugglers Run. While we were in line for Smugglers Run (maybe 20 minutes with GEnie plus) we bought LL for Rise, so we could ride it right after.

Where are you staying? I ask because with the early entry from on property, we took the monorail right into the park, walked over to that area and walked on to Smuggler's Run and then got in line.

We never have trouble riding Rise of the Resistance and we haven’t paid extra for Lighting Lane. One time we went we saw that they had closed the ride and then walked over and waited until it reopened and got in line about 20 minutes later and rode almost right away. Last time we went we just watched the app until the wait was under an hour and we got on within that time frame.

We are going during spring break, so I’m anticipating large crowds?
