Yes, but obviously depends on your hair type. My hair is dry/wavy, so I may have to touch up with a curling iron or straightener, but shoudl be good. My hair is also *extremely* affected by weather, so if it’s humid all bets are off, and it would end up in a pontail.
Ok douche, go ahead and call it mud. My husband DID have halitosis. We addressed it after I talked to you girls on here and guess what? Years later, no problem. Mofongo, you're a cunt. Eat shit. ~anonnamus
mofongo, thanks. I am in MN, humidity isn't really a thing right now. Freezing/dry/staticky hair is That being said, a ponytail is usually my end game anyway.
Like a PP said, it depends on hair type, but my blowouts tend to last for like 5 days. I have thick, dry hair. I think the best thing to do to make it last is to get waves/beach waves (I usually do beach waves but not with super straight ends) and ask the stylist to leave the waves tight instead of combing through them with their fingers before you go. You'll look a bit like Shirley Temple on day 1, but the waves are more likely to last for day 2.
A wash and blowout on Friday would probably still look better than not having that blow out. But it would fall differently. Tight curls definitely don't hold day to day for me.
However, if I wash and blow dry in the morning, and then wear it up in a bun until I'm ready to style it, I start with body and waves. (People who see my "carpool hair" are often surprised by my evening hair). And unlike the person below me, brushing it would be key to helping a blowout stay smooth. lol.

Similar to mofongo mine would totally last unless it was really humid. And then it wouldn't matter even one hour later. Try and not brush it until the very last minute. Don't brush before bed or right when you wake. It should be great!
If I blow it out the day off, I know what I'm getting. Day before blowout, it could look great, it could look bad. It's totally okay if I'm doing a low pony, bun, updo, etc. Then it's actually better. But if it's down and loose, I want to blow it out that day. It also does greatly depend on the humidity as well. I live in Texas and it's very icky and humid, but when I was in Hawaii, I was able to go three days between washing my hair. It was glorious and one more reason to leave Texas, lol.
If you don't already have one, pick up a satin pillow case. It will help keep your hair smooth overnight. I always put my hair in a very loose bun on top of my head and secure it with a satin scrunchie if I'm trying to preserve a blowout.

I always look like a lion! If is sweet my curls and frizz comes back, not in a good way! 🦁

As long as it isn't wet/misty or extremely humid, my hair holds a style for days so it would be fine. I'd probably gently lift the front with some velcro rollers, heat with a hair dryer, and cool to restore volume/lift.
My hair is fine and straight, so a blowout for me is for curls and body. Unfortunately that only lasts a couple of hours, and overnight would be completely useless.
I did get that satin curl scrunchie that people recommended here and it’s worked really well. It would probably help a lot to hold a blowout overnight.
Depends on your hair type. I like to do tight curls with a wand because those are more likely to last on day 2.
Would you mind sharing the wand you use? My kiddo has curly hair and now she's learning how to blow it out. On day two she like to recurl it with Velcro rollers or a curling iron for a different curl pattern.

Honestly my favorite one I stole from my SD and there’s no brand info! I like a 1 inch want with no taper. Sorry I don’t know which brand it is!
I think the OP is talking about a pro blowout, rather than one she does herself. Those always hold way better for me than when I do them myself. If I have tight curls on day 1, I have loose curls/waves on day 2, which is perfect. And ditto to the satin pillowcase!

If I do it late in the day the day before, and then add a bit of dry shampoo in the morning, it generally stays all the following day without looking gross.
Depends on your hair type. I only wash once a week, and most weeks I blow out my hair and it holds for at least 3-4 days. The secret is sleeping with a satin pillowcase. And if you need to pull it back, either clip it gently or use a satin scrunchy that isn't too tight.
