PSA: Capital One 11 month CD at 5% interest

Just wanted to share this in case anyone is looking for a short-term CD with a good interest rate.  I have a Capital One cc, and saw the CD rate special when I was on the website this morning.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and am just seeing this thread now. Someone mentioned having theirs set to auto renew. How do I see how mine is set? Am I notified near the end of the 11 months and asked what I want to do?

I think it ended a week or two ago. Their website no longer has it. www.capitalone.com/bank/cds/online-cds/ Several other banks are offering more than 5%. bankrate.com.

I wish they’d come back out with this. I decided not to put some other money in a CD and now I regret it. I don’t want to put it in yet another bank either or one I haven’t heard of
