I have seen it before, didn't see it this time.  The shot of the divots being pushed back in during halftime by an army of people was something.

There are 30 NFL stadiums (2 are shared by 2 teams) and fully SIXTEEN of them have real grass. How?! And in Arizona?!

The holding call on the Eagles? Initially we thought it wasn't when we viewed it, but then the player straight up admitted it in a post game interview and had hoped the ref would let it slide.

I thought I heard them say that this was some new kind of grass? Apparently the field conditions were awful all season. I’m not sure how this is okay for the effing SUPER BOWL.

Yup. I mean, it was a hold…but looked fairly minor and I wouldn’t have called it at that point in the game. It basically decided that game, and I hate when reffing does that. Before y’all @ me, I know it was a penalty but I have seen refs step out of close big games because they don’t want to be the story and unfortunately, they are.

That hold call was trash and it wouldn’t have affected the play anyway since the ball wasn’t anywhere near him. We had a chance to bring it back and instead they got a first down on an absolute garbage call and they got to run the clock down.

I keep shifting between rage and heartbreak.

My takeaway is that she is not afraid of heights. I could see the safety strap, but I also saw the platform wobble for a moment and didn't know how she could barely hold the mic stand when I would be gripping it with both hands.

Hmmm, next year... maybe it's time for Garth, Tim, and Shania. I don't even like country but I feel like they are overdue. Or go back the the 90s with Green Day and Alanis.

It was touching to see so many tears from the Eagles coach during the anthem. Made me assume he really appreciated being there.

meganew, the next day commentary was saying as much. That they could have called this throughout the game on both teams, but didn't, so calling it then seemed like a choice.

the eagles (and soccer's Union) use the same type of grass without issue. it's however they planted it/care for it. 

which, i get is harder in AZ than PA, but truly, professional groundskeepers should absolutely know how to handle this and it seems very obvious that they didn't. and the KC kicker had been hurt earlier in the year on this specific field?!? come onnnnn what an embarassment.
