Couches and hardwood question.

If you have couches that float in your room and hardwood floors.. how do you keep them from moving around when people sit on them?

We got some stick-on pads made by Scotch. The bottom is a rubbery-grippy material. They kept our couch from moving, even when our 80 lb dog catapulted onto it to yell at the UPS guy (one of his favorite pastimes 🙄).

Yup those rubber pads on the bottom - plus hopefully the front feet of the couch are on a rug, should also help.

We put the front two feet on an area rug that's also under our super-heavy coffee table. Nothing else seemed to work.

I'll have to research those sticky things... right now ours is against the wall with a window and I have 2x4 boards on the floor behind the back legs and the wall. DH is the WORST in pushing back as he sits down - on everything....
