The old guard of the Democratic Party needs to get over this vision they have of the GOP as an equally viable political party of fiscal conservatives who just disagree on some nuanced spending issues. They are a terrorist organization and should be treated as such. Dangerous laws like this need to be highlighted during every single election cycle.

I'm in a red state in the midwest, not Missouri, and a lot of people try to blame this shit away saying they are moderate Republicans and the stuff us Dems call them out for are just the extremists....but they really haven't been able to say that for awhile. This isn't extremists, this is just the Republican party. If you are an R and this doesn't line with your beliefs leave the party and become a D or an I or something, do something.
So it's currently legal for anyone at any age to conceal carry a gun in public in Missouri?
My skimming made it look like open carry, unsupervised. Cool. No need to call anyone about that 14 year old just walking down the street with an assault rifle. Totally legal and normal!
Just so I'm clear on where the GOP stands - open carry by a 14yo? Cool. Forcing a 14yo to have a baby? Cool. Letting a 14yo choose their own book to read? Absofuckinglutely not.

Got it.
Donβt forget they want to lower the working age standards so those 14 year olds can work later and more hours!

Don't forget they also want to get rid of safety regulations.

Missouri is also extremely wild in that you can be carrying allll kinds of guns in public, completely armed to the teeth, and until you brandish the weapon in a threatening manner, you have not committed a crime.
Thanks, McCloskeys.
I know that I often point guns at people in a non-threatening manner π
So anyway.
Everybody has that one questionable neighbor, but Illinois is at 5.

I'm one of those crazy neighbors to your east:( The Indiana House on Tuesday passed a bill providing state funding to train teachers who carry guns in classrooms after an emotional debate. School districts can already authorize the arming of teachers, but there isn't a specific training curriculum β or much money β to go with
