I will have 1 day to site see in San Francisco and plan to uber anywhere I need to go. Going to Alcatraz doesn't interest me and I'll be by myself. I hate solo trips but I'm going for a wedding. I am staying at Hotel Zoe right over in Fishermans' Wharf. It'll be end of March so I'm thinking the weather should be decent.

What do you like to do?
You could walk or bike down to the Ferry Building and then check out the SFMOMA (modern art museum) in nearby SoMa. Or you could take a ferry out to Sausalito.
You could also walk/bike in the opposite direction, toward the Marina, Presidio and Golden Gate Bridge. The views are really pretty whether you walk east or west along the Embarcadero. You could hike down to the beach in the Presidio. Golden Gate Park is nice too and has the De Young Museum.
If you like shopping, there’s Fillmore Street in Pacific Heights. Or if you want something cooler/trendier, you could head down to the Castro or the Mission. Or to Hayes Valley.
And of course we have spas and nail salons if you just want to pamper yourself. And shows if you like that.
ETA: Our weather is always decent. 😀 Unless it’s raining, which is definitely possible in March.

My suggestions:
Take the cable car up to Union Square, there is a stop right near Fisherman’s Wharf. Shop, eat, drink, etc in Union Square.
Uber from Union Square to the Ferry Building and walk around. Walk from there to Pier 39 to explore. Pier 39 should be close enough to walk back to your hotel.

Personally, I’d avoid Union Square these days. It’s not quite deserted but foot traffic isn’t what it used to be. I feel fine walking around there during the day, but tourists should be aware that block to block it can feel very gritty, a lot of businesses haven’t reopened and it’s where you’ll see a lot of the city’s post-pandemic problems and delayed recovery on display. And there’s nothing that exciting there that you can’t find in any city.

I'm assuming around Fisherman's Wharf is ok? It seemed like a big tourist area. I'm not someone to wander by myself at night.

Do you like museums? SF Moma has modern Art and you can stroll around Yerba Buena, The Exploratorium is a hands on science museum at Pier 15, The Deyoung pairs well with the park.
Do you like the outdoors and being active? Some people like to rent a bike near there, then pedal all the way up hill to the Golden Gate Bridge, stop in Sausalito and ferry back to SF.
Where/when is the wedding?(day of week, time of day)
Take the cable car to Chinatown and have dim sum. Walk down the crooked block of Lombard St. Go up to the top of Coit Tower. Check out the Ferry Building and Embarcadero. Have an Italian dinner in North Beach.
