My go-to for years appears to have been discontinued (Neutrogena Oil-Free SPF 35) and I'm trying to find a new daily moisturizer. I've been using the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream and adding Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen on top. That's getting too spendy because I've run out of the DE cream and it's only been a month lol. I'd like to keep using it at night, but ideally I'd find a moisturizer with SPF for day.
The catch is that it can't have octinoxate, that makes me break out. I tried the Drunk Elephant SPF, but it's zinc and it just made my skin feel tight and dry. I don't know if that's all mineral sunscreens or not, but I did not like it.
I pretty much only use the Elta MD spf, non-tinted.
I also have been using the Kiehl's ultra moisturizing with SPF that came in a sephora spf value thingy. I like it in winter if I'm not doing make up because it's really hydrating.
They all make me feel like a giant greaseball so I'm following for ideas. I currently use The Ordinary's moisturizer. Maybe it's just how my skin is and nothing can be done.
I just started using Aveeno positively radiant gel moisturizer, and I really like it ( www.aveeno.com/products/positively-radiant-daily-gel-facial-moisturizer ). I tried a few moisturizers with SPF (cetaphil, soap & glory)and realized I can’t stand the sunscreen smell, and I got tired of trying things. So this plus Unseen Sunscreen, which has no smell.
ETA: Has anyone tried the Thank You Farmer that Costco has right now? www.costco.com/.product.1353559.html I’m tempted and I know I could return, but I haven’t tried yet. It says it’s moisturizer plus SPF.
I use and love Paula’s Choice Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator. I use it with Biore Watery Essence SPF during the day and as the last step after retinol etc at night.
I also had a sample of Sephora HYA moisturizer and liked it.
I use the blue no 7 day and night cream. I get the fragrance free version. I have pretty sensitive skin and I always end up going back to it when I try something new. I do also like the la Roche posay line of things as well. My derm gave me lots of samples of their tinted moisturizer and it's great.

My holy grail was discontinued so I’ve been using this one. It’s really nice, I just bought my second tube. I especially like the price. It doesn’t have octinoxate.
I use Neutrogena Hydro Boost. A fairly inexpensive option that works well.
I love this stuff. It's got good ingredients, no fragrance and feels great on the skin. It's a gel cream, so it's light/non greasy but still moisturizing. If you like the texture of the DE, you'll probably like this. And it's like 1/3 the cost.
I use the Supergoop unseen too. It's been my holy grail for years and years. I started getting some milia bumps under my eyes and my esthetician recommended trying the Elta MD clear 46spf, so I just ordered that to test out.
I’ve stopped using moisturizer in the morning. Lately I’ve been using Laneige water sleeping mask at night ( I’m obsessed) and in the morning I use a serum and then supergoop unseen sunscreen. That’s been working well for me, but I have pretty oily skin.
Previously I liked IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Gel for daily moisturizing
I normally use Elta md mineral but Cerave’s lightweight moisturizer with spf feels great. Not to be confused with the Cerave am, which is terrible IMO. It says that it is for normal to oily skin but I have dry skin and it works fine. I use it on my neck and on days I don’t want the heavy mineral stuff.

Same, but I randomly bought the Aldi dupe of this about a month ago, and I like it just as much. A jar is about $6
Do you have access to Trader Joe’s? Their daily facial sunscreen is a dupe for the Supergoop Unseen, and I actually like it better. That plus the more expensive moisturizer maybe could work?
