Lego Land California was a bust. A lot of money to play on playground equipment because my 7 year old deemed the rides not worth the wait. I regret not getting a fast pass before they sold out. I don’t think she would be impressed even if she rode more than a couple rides. I guess we needed better planning. We saw no characters, nobody had the pop tops, nobody had figures to trade, and we didn’t make it to any of the characters. We did see one show. Overall we had fun, but a let down for something that my daughter was most excited for. Most of the employees seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Spring Break probably had everyone wore out.
My advise for anyone going is to get the fast pass. Otherwise the wait is a little long. I think anything would have been too long for my coaster loving child. We are from Ohio so some great coasters that may have set her up for disappointment at a theme park geared towards younger kids.
Sea World was kind of small and most of the rides were closed. We just couldn’t catch a break on this trip. I did spring for the fast pass after what we experienced at Lego Land. My daughter loved the fast pass and rode the one coaster it worked on numerous times. We saw no animals shows lol. No idea why she wanted to go to Sea World, but it was on her list. Again, spent a ton of money and she mainly rode one coaster.
This was a lesson to plan our trips a little more and that we need a mapped list before going.
I would say these two are probably skips for a California trip. Not worth the money for such little value.
