My front porch has been a gathering spot for random crap. I cleaned it out last fall and it's mostly stayed clean (a few items I need to deal with). I'd really like to get some furniture to fill the space and keep me from using it as a dumping ground. Whatever goes in this space isn't going to get sat on often because I have a lovely patio with very comfortable furniture in the yard. I love the idea of a porch swing, but I think the porch light (not pictured, but it's between one column and the window) is going to be in the way.
The less money I spend on this the better, but I'm comfortable going up to $500. I would prefer something with a pop of color instead of a neutral, but it needs to not clash with my fuchsia front door. Available space is roughly 6'x6' (it doesn't look square, but that's what the measurements say). The sides are approximately 30" high.

I think an egg chair is too big/overwhelming for the space. If you cannot do a swing, maybe a double glider. I usually go neutral for the actual furniture and do pops of color with pillows/accessories.
I’d do two smaller chairs and a little table between them. Or a bench and a little table. Bring in color with a rug and pillows. Maybe some plants? The egg chair seems way too big.
I strongly prefer color. It's the biggest obstacle I'm facing trying to find something. I like the egg chair because it makes a statement. It would be visible from the street. For some reason, that appeals.
Deep teal seems to be in right now. It's a color I like, but I dont think it's going to look good against my sage siding.
deadwing , I bet navy or orange would look great with your siding.
Orange is one of the color families I'm looking at. I hadn't really considered navy, but I have a couple of nice planters in storage with a little navy in them... could tie in nicely with a navy cushion...
I looked into a porch swing for a space and it seemed way harder than I expected to install and have enough clearance for swinging.
What about one of those outdoor chairs that hang from a metal stand and bounce/swing? They have some at our TJ Maxx/Homegoods. You could put one in corner with a small table.
I like that! So many color options for you to consider with the green siding. To be clear I do love color too, I just do it with accents, but if you want a fuscia chair do it, yolo! My main advice is pick something that fits the space with some room to spare.
I looked at both of these options yesterday! I like both of them. I need to find something teal to hold up to the siding and determine if it would look OK. I'm pretty sure I have a teal shirt somewhere.

This chair is currently my top contender. I wish it had a more colorful option, but it just looks like a comfortable place to sit. So many chairs just don't look inviting to me. If I'm going to buy a chair, even if I don't expect it to get a lot of use, I want it to be comfortable when it does get used.
2nd/3rd choice options currently are the 2 HD/Hampton Bay wicker chairs I posted last night. One of either of those with it's companion ottoman would fill the space nicely.
When it comes to color, I either do neutral walls with bold furniture or bold walls with neutral furniture. I usually go for the neutral walls because it's more of a pain to repaint. If I listed the colors in my living room, you'd think I was nuts, but it's actually very cohesive.
I didn't see your picture so forgive me if this suggestion makes zero sense, but if you don't really plan to sit out there, what about something like a massive plant stand or a collection of planters/topiaries? Or a little vignette like this:
lust2hart I actually hadn't thought of that, but it's a good idea! Right now I'm mostly waiting to see if anything I like goes on sale. I'll also look into something plant-centric.
