I had the plan all set for our upstairs bath reno, and now that the contractor is ready to go (wants to start demo next week!) my floor tile has been discontinued and is no longer available.
This was my plan:
The floor tile was this:
I would probably need only a small amount since it's a tiny bathroom (5x5-ish) and half the floor will be shower. Any idea on how to find discontinued tile? Alternatively, anyone want to help me find something with a similar "feel"? I loved that it was relatively large-format, looked a little soft (e.g. with light grout would not be a harsh hexagon pattern), and was neutral-ish.
That's really pretty! Is is the same one you used in your powder room?
A quick google search for "merola tile mazzo hex deco ruffle" turned up a bunch of results from the manufacturer that are similar (same shape, colors). I bet there is a different pattern you would like.
Ask your contractor if he has any local flooring connections he uses, might be able to get some from a wholesale source. We had some accent tile that had been discontinued that we only needed a little of, they were able to order the few sheets available and get it shipped.
We were able to have someone at a floor and decor find our tile in their computer system and then visit six stores to get enough of our tile to do our bathroom. That is what I get for hating grey

Ha, I picked an alternative that is going in tomorrow and is *not* grey!
