This would be for the floor of a small full bath. The rest of the bathroom would be white. Not sure if I'm just talking myself into something out of desperation -- I was previously looking at neutrals only. We're not really worried about resale though.
ETA: It's ordered and subbed into the moodboard so I guess it's a done deal! Now just biting my nails because the delivery date changed from "BY 04/25" to "BY 05/01" to "ON 05/01" as I ordered it all, and the tile guy is also coming ON 05/01. This reno is already giving me an ulcer and it hasn't started!
I think it's lovely but I think the worry I'd have for myself ... I know I'd need bath mats, for safety, and if I picked a tile design that I really loved, I'd worry that I'd be unhappy because I'd be covering it up. Does that make sense? Will you have enough floor showing (or no need for mats) that you can still enjoy it?

I ... did not think of that. You're right, if I have a mat in front of the sink and one in front of the shower there will be minimal floor left over. Argh.
I'd also worry about how glossy the tile is ... my kitchen has the glossiest tile and it almost impressive at how little liquid to become dangerously slippery.
Edited to say that I don't mean to pick on all tile. It's just that I think of tile that is installed on walls is often glossy. Doesn't mean this is.
I think it’s very pretty and would look great in a mostly white room with maybe some blue/yellow accents.
We have tile similar to your discontinued one in our basement bathroom that has a shower. I didn’t end up getting mats because a) the shower’s not that frequently used and b) the tile has a really flat, matte finish that makes it not slippery at all (and surprisingly, not that cold-feeling).
I think if the finish is flat you could potentially avoid mats, but if you do need them they could actually work as a nice pop of colour in the blue/yellow. I wouldn’t let needing mats dissuade you.
The blue/yellow combo strikes me as dated, but I don’t know if that’s because it actually is dated or just because my mom put similar accent tile in our main bathroom back in the late 90s.
I love it. Regarding the floor mat coverage, what about using it as an accent behind the mirror wall? I wanted something more intricate like this one, but DH wanted subtle, we’ll install a grey and white tile behind our mirrors in the master as a similar accent.
I think the tile pattern and colors are very pretty. I am someone who enjoys color, so I feel like this might be out of place in a room that is otherwise entirely white. I'd want to pick up on the colors from the tile somewhere else. Maybe some soft blue towels or a white shower curtain with a subtle design in one of the colors from the tile.
I think other people have made very good points about slipperiness and coverage with mats.
I'll be the naysayer -and I love color and I hate seeing a sea of grays.
But based on the other pictures I've seen of your home, this seems like something of stretch for you style wise. Not that every room needs to be the same, but I think most of the stuff you've shown us has been a really cohesive style and this is an outlier.

I will say the upstairs is a bit more colorful than you've probably seen downstairs. Here's the gallery wall in the closest bedroom:
Personally, I love it. But I think the mat thing is a good point if the floor area isn't huge, as well as just checking generally to see how slippery it is. It does feel kind of beach-y to me, but I like beach-y. Not sure if it goes with your other stuff or not.

It does have a bit of a hippy-dippy 70s feel to me but I don't really mind it!

No worries, always good to have something to consider, but it's actually very matte, almost like a concrete feel.

That's a relief!
I really wonder what my house's previous owners were thinking when they redid the kitchen. Most everything in the house is great, if not always my style. But this tile is impressive in how slippery it gets. And in a kitchen! lol - trust me, it's almost item #1 on the list when I redo my kitchen!
