Chair shopping help

I want to put a reading nook in a drafty corner of a sunroom, so I had been looking at wing back chairs, for their original intended purpose (stop drafts in old castles). Current, I have Ikea Poangs, but have to wrap myself in blankets in the winter.

I was looking at this chair from west elm, but H thinks it’s shorter than I want (it’s a 30 minute drive to look at it, so saving that til it’s a final contender) www.westelm.com/products/cozy-swivel-chair-h3797/

I lean MCM or modern. Ideally, it would be peacock blue. And while I’ve seen some options on overstock, I would like a nicer quality. And I feel like I spend hours last night browsing every online store I could think of. 

When I say I lean MCM, I mean that a Jetsons type egg chair is only out of contention because of the bright white fiberglass shell, and the $8000 price tag. But, at $1k, with a walnut shell and blue interior, I might could pull a trigger.

Have you checked out Room and Board? They have some nice options too. And lots of fabrics to choose from. And i LOVE swivel chairs. We have a swivel rocker that we got at Crate and Barrel 14 years ago and it's still my favorite chair

Yeah, I’ve heard that. And I’ve moved on from the west elm one.

Joybird is a sustainable furniture store. They have some chairs that look like what you have in mind.
