Audio Sabrina and Corina 3* no more short story collections for me, I just can’t get into the format. I liked a lot of the stories but didn’t want to keep picking up the book.
Visual Ribbons of Scarlet by Kate Quinn and other collaborators 4* The River by Peter Heller 4* Sister Stardust by Jane Green 2* I used to love her books but this one was a bunch of name dropping partying, meh. Setting was good.
5 stars: The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese (I hesitated because it's so long, but it was gorgeous)
4.5 stars : The Long way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers (reread -- love this series)
4 stars: A Molecule Away from Madness by Sarah Manning Peskin (nonfiction, very interesting) Transcription by Kate Atkinson (weird and enjoyable, but I almost always like her books) The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly (never read any of his before -- fun and page-turnery)
3 stars: Lone Women by Victor LaValle ( I normally like his style but this one did not work for me) River Sing Me Home by Eleanor Shearer (had potential, but boring) The Heart’s Invisible Furies by John Boyne (everyone loves this, but I was disappointed. Jarringly comic tone, too convoluted while also being predictable)
