I used to have an electric pressure cooker that died and I replaced it with an Instant Pot solely so I can make hard boiled eggs in it. It's a gigantic unitasker. lol
Six minutes on low pressure makes for the easiest peel hard boiled eggs in the history of mankind. It's life changing it you want egg salad or deviled eggs.

I have used an instapot exactly once; I borrowed it from a friend to see if it made peeling eggs easier. It in fact did, but I could not justify buying one for just that reason, lol.
FWIW - I honestly can't imagine hard boiled eggs peeling any easier than they do with my preferred method. Steam rather than boil and then immediate ice bath and they slip right out. I know everybody has their secrets, but for anybody coveting an IP for hard boiled eggs it might be worth a try.

I imagine this is basically the same since they steam in there instead of being submerged in water. I did and do use the pressure cooker for other things on occasion, so it's worth having one, but good to know that steaming them provides the same result!
