So sad...

Oh how I hate the calls of bad news. My sister's baby's father died this past Saturday. They found him today in a hotel. Overdose.

We all knew something like this might happen, it's devestating that it actually did. My nephew just turned one last weekend.

I'm in shock. 2012 has been kind of horrible. T&P for his family please.

My sister is a mess. They weren't together recently but I think she thought he would change and could have the family she wanted. He had numerous relapses and was in and out of my nephew's life. He was like 25ish.

Given how you explained who he was in relation to your sister, I thought that might be the case (that they weren't together at this point). I can imagine that this is really hard for her. As long as the drugs were in the picture, I can see why she might hold out hope for the potential future of their family. How difficult. I hope she's able to get some help. It's could really hang over her head if she doesn't deal with it and process it in a healthy way. It is so hard when senseless things like this happen.

My prayers are with all touched by this.
