San Francisco!

H and I are going for our anniversary - we'll be there most of Friday, all day Saturday, leaving late Sunday. I was going to try Priceline for a hotel. Any recommendations for things to do? Places to eat? I'm so excited!!!!!

Yes, definitely Alcatraz and a walk down pier 39. It's fun-touristy with lots of great little shops and eats..and watch out for the jumping bush guy. I don't remember what street he was on, but he definitely caught me off guard!

Twin Peaks for great views of the City and Golden Gate Park.

And Crissy Field for great views of the Bridge.

We stumbled upon the Gold Dust Lounge as it was near our hotel and if you can hit it on a night when Johnny Z and the Camaro's are playing it's a total blast! Cheap drinks too.

Hit the Ferry Building Marketplace for food, wine, cheeses, etc. It's awesome!

+1 for Gold Dust. $3.50 irish coffees, margaritas and sparkling wine every day until 8. It's a total dive but I love it. There have been rumors it's closing (lost their lease I think) but so far it's still open.
