Before You Knew My Name by Jacqueline Bublitz (a little slow at times)
My Murder by Katie Williams (good)
Don't Call Me Home by Alexandra Auder
The Five-Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand (breezy)
What Lies in the Woods by Kate Alice Marshall
Cassandra in Reverse by Holly Smale (ok)
She Started It by Sian Gilbert (not as bad as I expected)
Zero Days by Ruth Ware (bad)
The Only One Left by Riley Sanger (not bad)
This Is Not a Book About Benedict Cumberbatch: The Joy of Loving Something--Anything--Like Your Life Depends On It by Tabitha Carvan
QOTW:
I just got back from a five day solo trip to the Delaware River Gap. I think we are going to do day trips in August and then a long weekend in the fall. Having three dogs and the plague is really putting a damper on travel.
I actually generally read less on vacation on average! I’m normally tired at night and busy all day.
I'm still reading Killing Moon by Jo Nesbo. It's not bad but I haven't really made time to read this week. I will say that so far the parts written around the killer seem more cheesey and cliched than diabolical so I am curious to see where it goes.
QOTW: We're going to my family's cottage over the 4th and will have the place to ourselves so I will definitely read a lot. MH also wants to go camping somewhere there is zero cell signal so that will be another good reading opportunity! In August we're going to Colorado and I will probably read on the flight and whenever MH takes a nap. 😉
I finished The Endless Vessel by Charles Soule, which was definitely interesting but not quite amazing, and am now reading Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr — the shifting stories has actually been perfect for a week or very little reading time.
QOTW: we just got home from a few days in NYC, so very little reading time there except on the plane — we kept busy in our short time! We have a beach trip coming up next month and I’ll get a lot of reading time then.
I finished: The Last Lifeboat by a Hazel Gaynor, 3* All That Is Mine I Carry with Me by William Landay, 2.5*
I'm currently reading Kindred by Octavia E. Butler. I was hesitant about this book because of the fantasy aspect of the book, but I'm really enjoying it.
Qotw: We are going to visit family this summer. Otherwise, we are planning on staying around here and doing a bunch of local things since we are giving some serious thought to moving again. I usually read less on vacation.
I just finished Pretty Things by Janelle Brown, I really enjoyed it. I finished listening to Good Girls Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson and enjoyed that too.
I’ve been on a roll this month, in part because my renewed focus on reading during our vacation at the beginning of the month. Plus I put some books on hold for that trip and some of them are still trickling in.

I finished up the A Court of Thorns and Roses series with A Court of Silver Flames. I loved the series and this book! I'm glad there's going to be more books! Debating now if I should start her competed series (Throne of Glass) or the other series that more directly ties into ACOTAR (Crescent City) but only has 2 books, with the next one coming out in January I think. I'm reading a couple other books before I start in on either!
QOTW: No vacation plans. I only read on vacation during travel really. I'm the type to see everything so I'm usually too busy to read!

Finished Not that Kind of Ever After and For The Love of the Bard. Both were cute, For the Love of the Bard was better.
Started reading Crazy To Leave You which is a holdover from last year's summer reading I didn't get to. It's about a woman who is left at the altar and needs to refind herself.
Started listening to Pineapple Street which is about a rich family from Brooklyn Heights. Both the books I'm reading now seem to deal with wealthy New Yorkers, so that's kind of fun.
QOTW: Borrowing from ML, with a book twist: Do you have summer travel plans? Do you normally read more or less than usual when you travel? I've got lots of summer travel - already been on three shorter trips, with a longer one next month. I always think I'll read more travelling, but inevitably I end up reading less.

I tried to make a dent in "The Last House Wife", but it got really weird and too sexual (like TW sexual) for me so I put it down and picked up "The Golden Couple".
QOTW: Only 2 long weekends in another state this summer. Fingers crossed life will allow for a week long vacation summer in the fall. Typically I read a lot more on vacation if I'm not at home/I travel somewhere.
