The most surprising part about this is he was also stabbed a few years ago and I don’t remember hearing about it.

My first response to H was, “Wasn’t he already stabbed? Is this old news?” But I don’t think it got much attention then. I do remember hearing about it though!

But not like a severe injury, something “small enough” where it can easily become infected.

Like a paper cut or mosquito bite that turns into a 6+ week painful/annoying healing time for no valid reason.

i am going out on a limb to assume he's still really gross if his fellow prisoners stabbed him for being gross.
