Bathroom reno pt 1 - tile update in first post

Well, not entirely. We've gotten most of the tile (the rest I'll get Thur or Fri) and we got most of the items we need for the two bathrooms.

The big bathroom (Victorian style) tiles. The cool thing about the subway tile is that it has a cracked paint finish, so isn't 'boring'. 



The smaller bathroom for my MIL. Hopefully, she'll like it once it's in. Floor tile is matt and bigger, wall tile is shiny and more rectangular.

The amount of tile that my H and I carried into our house was ridiculously heavy. Unfortunately, a LOT of the rectangular tiles were broken, so the tile shop has had to order a whole new batch to be sent to us.

Update: got all the new tile and most of it was whole so we should be good. Also was able to get the mosaic tile for my MIL's shower area. It's very pretty!

Darn, that’s a bummer about the broken tiles! Love that blue colour, though - can’t wait to see how it turns out!
