I'll update the blog most days with reno pics. If you just want to see the beginning and end (because really, it's not that interesting to most people), I'll post them here.
The start: mybeforeandafter.wordpress.com/2023/07/24/time-to-renovate-again/ You can see the bathrooms as they are now, right before reno. The guys showed up at 8am, ready to put down sheeting on the floors/stairs, and we went through everything that needs to happen.
My first thought was those bathrooms are gorgeous and I can't believe you're going to renovate them! But, if they aren't working for you, renovating makes sense. I look forward to the after photos!

Exactly what most of my friends have said. If we didn't live with my MIL, we'd probably leave them as is. As it stands, she uses both bathrooms due to neither being suitable for her alone and when we have guests she has to share her bathrooms with them, which is uncomfortable for everyone (since my MIL is not exactly social with anyone).
Hopefully, we'll end up with two very useable and good looking bathrooms at the end!

fingers crossed the steamroom bathroom ends up bigger than you thought!!
we had a small bathroom 6' x 9' that we gutted - it took almost 2 days to demo due to a partial concrete subfloor and a whole lot of other "fun" finds!
