I read her book this year and she had a hard life and a lot of struggles. It’s sad to think it’s over, she seemed to try so hard to move forward.

you are correct. That’s one of the reasons I always recommend this podcast - I’m a child of the 80s/90s and so many stories about women during that time were so misrepresented…some I realized at the time but most I didn’t and had to re learn their stories as I got older. I remember the controversy when she did this well (my BFF in high school LOVED her so we listed to Sinéad a lot!) but truly didn’t understand what her protest was about. Then she just seemed to disappear - but of course she didn’t really. It’s such a frustrating story
