I finished a Homecoming by Kate Morton, 2.5* (this book just didn't work for me for many reasons).
I'm currently reading The Mistress of Bhatia House by Sujata Massey. It is the fourth book in the Perveen Mistry series. I really enjoy this series.
Qotw: I'm not one to rewatch tv or movies, but I do make sure to watch every episode of Outlander. I have seen M*A*S"H so many times that I can recite some lines, but that's because my daughter loves it and if she's watching TV she's almost always watching MASH.
I just finished Tom Lake by Ann Patchett — beautiful writing, didn’t resonate with me as much as many of her other books. Not sure what’s next. A ton of my library holds came in at once, so I’ll pick those up today and decide.
QOTW: in my pre-cable-cutting life, probably Dirty Dancing — I love that movie.
I finally finished Atalanta. I really enjoyed it once I had time to sit down and read.
QOTW: I came up with this question while watching Twister for the millionth time. Jaws is another one that I will always watch and have actually seen in the theater at least twice recently.
I read Fourth Wing and even though it kind of feels like lots of other books I’ve read, it was a fast read and I enjoyed it. I’ve since started three other books, none of which are grabbing me.
QOTW: I rarely watch TV/movies anymore because I always pick up a book instead, but probably the 90s rom coms like While You Were Sleeping, Father of the Bride, Sleepless in Seattle, etc.

Finished Summertime Guest and The Woman in the Library. Summertime Guests was fine, but nothing special. The Woman in the Library was great and I really enjoyed it.
Still reading The Bostonians and started The Last Word. I've been looking forward to it as Katy Birchall has been my go-to summer read the past 2 summers. It's an enemies to lovers romcom about two journalists who work for the same magazine.
Started listening to Donut Fall in Love which is a cute romcom about a Hollywood Star taking baking lessons before he goes on a celebrity baking show.
QOTW: Do you have a must watch movie or show? Something that you'll put on every single time it's on TV? Not so much anymore, now that there are streaming channels, but when I was younger it'd be Heart and Souls, Chances Are, and Picture Perfect
I finished All That is Mine I Carry With Me. I did not like it at all. I'm reading The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. It's an interesting concept, but is moving kind of slowly. And it's really long.
I finished Queen of Shadows (my favorite in the TOG series so far!) and Love, Theoretically. Both were good. Love, Theoretically was better than her last book IMO. The first and second book of hers I read felt like the same people. The characters in this one actually felt a little different.
Currently reading Empire of Storms.
QOTW: I barely watch TV anymore. Most of my shows have ended, or I'm just not into them anymore (Grey's..). If I need background noise, I like HGTV or Food Network stuff mostly! But we do need to catch up on several shows. I just prefer reading lately 🤷♀️
