My refrigerator has started vibrating intermittently. A few days ago I noticed a shelf vibrating when the door was open. This has rapidly progressed to the point where it woke me up at 4am today. It came with the house and I guessing it's anywhere from 7 to 12 years old. I think it's probably time to replace. Any recommendations? Unfortunately I'm limited to counter depth and prefer a side-by-side.

It's bottom-freezer and we've had it for about 5 years, but we love our counter-depth LG fridge and plan to replace it with another LG fridge (moving this one to the mudroom as our spare) in the next little while.
A friend just got an LG that she's happy with, so it's good to hear from someone who has one longer!
I think I will look at bottom freezer models that have 2 drawers. My parents have a bottom-freezer single drawer and it's just fucking chaos. I like the side-by-side because you can find shit in the freezer. The annoying thing in my house is the fridge is in a corner so the freezer door only opens to 90* and it limits access.
I have an LG and have had it for about 2 years and am very happy with it. It's not side by side or counter depth, but I wanted to at least recommend the brand Also, I don't know what your price point is, but my Mom has a SubZero and it's 25 years old at this point. The brand is out of my price range, but as far as longevity goes, and something that has worked flawlessly the entire time she's had it, it's a great option.
I haven't had any issues with either LG fridge I've owned. One of them I only owned for 18 months (it didn't die; I moved). The current one I've had for almost 2.5 years now.
+ I love the flex compartment + No door handles means I can open the door on the wall side wider + Configurable shelves to accommodate items of varying heights + Bottom compartments have pull out shelves instead of being a giant basket + It's in stock at a local store
- It's more than I was hoping to spend - It's 1/8" wider than current fridge and it's a snug fit in the space. I'll ask my dad about sanding down the trim. I also think the current one is angled slightly in the space (or the counter isn't straight) so it might be fine? - It's 3" deeper than current fridge, which is deep for counter-depth. I think I can live with this.

IDK if this makes sense but my freezer looks like one drawer from the outside, but then inside there are three separate drawers -- two at the top that pull out and then the rest of the deep section to pile stuff in. It works well.
I doubt knowing the model will help because it's from 2014 but here it is!

I saw some like that last night. I just don't think the drawer style freezer is going to work for me. I think it's between these two four-door style options. The first one has some really nice features, but I'm just not sure it's worth almost $1k more than the second one. I'm working 5-2 tomorrow so my plan is to go back out in the afternoon and make a final decision. Driving around during rush hour sucked last night.
